In the last few hours Apple has released iOS 5.1.1 for your iOS powered devices. Don’t get too excited though its not a feature release, it simply contains bug fixes.

It may also be worth noting that if you are waiting for the iOS 5.1 Jailbreak to be released, you should not update to 5.1.1 just yet.
Most IOS users know about the “Tap to Focus” feature in the camera app. You simply tap on the screen where you would like the camera to focus on and hey presto the camera should focus on that area.

What allot of IOS users do not know is that you can actually Lock the Focus and Exposure on the IOS camera. This will stop the camera constantly re-focusing when you move your device around and stop the Exposure (light) levels from changing. Which depending on what your trying to do with your camera, can lead to a better result.
Have you checked for the Flashback Trojan yet? The reason I am asking is because of the recent stats released by Symantec, which show its still on thousands of Macs around the world.

Unlocking your iPhone has just become easier thanks to a Free App available from Cydia.

This article just runs through the settings and tweaks I use on my iPhone 4S running on the giffgaff Mobile Network here in the UK.

giffgaff runs on the o2 Network which means if you are thinking about switching from another Mobile Network you will get exactly the same Signal Coverage as o2.
IOS 5 gave us some great new features, but for some reason Apple left some features hidden. One of the hidden features was Panorama Mode, which can be enabled very easily.

The Panoramic Photo above was taken on an iPhone 4S, Straightened, Colour Corrected and Cropped all from the iPhone 4S itself. It was then uploaded direct to this site and I think you will agree, the result is impressive for a phone.
Once your have enabled Panorama Mode on your IOS Device you simply swipe your phone to the right in the Camera App for the Panoramic Photo to be created.
